Launched in 1919, "Danone" yogurt was named after the Catalan nickname of its creator's son, "Danon" (little Daniel). The brand was first exported to France in 1929. Historically based at 17 Boulevard Haussmann in the 9th arrondissement of Paris, the company moved to Rueil-Malmaison, inaugurating its largest headquarters in the world. To mark the occasion, a quarter-tone piano, previously available to Danone staff, is offered for sale by the brand.
You can come and try out the piano
