MAX INGRAND (1908-1969) FOR THE RADIO HOUSE (INAUGURATED IN 1963) 10.021, version 7 glass slides, the model created around [1960], our copies installed around 1961-63 in the Salle des variétés of the Maison de la Radio Pair of large recessed wall lights. The diffusion of light is ensured, for each luminaire, by 7 thick sheets of glass with facades in broken lines (4 concave and 3 convex) and arranged alternately by type of profile. The side plates are made of varnished brass. The recessed mounting brackets in white lacquered brass. Max Ingrand Editions. Slight traces of oxidation on the brass parts, small scratches of use on the surface of the brass parts, a small chip at the base visible at the back on one of the plates of a wall light, a small chip at a corner of a glass plate and another on the lower edge of another glass plate, some tiny scratches; always on this same wall light. Height: 100 cm - Width: 23.5 cm - Depth: 17 cm Provenance and history : Maison de la Radio (formerly O.R.T.F., now Radio France group) - Our pair of wall lights installed in the Salle des variétés designed and fitted out by Jean Niermans between 1961 and 1963.
