Visite exclusive au cœur d’un laboratoire de recherche : le Centre de Recherches sur la Cognition Animale (CRCA)
Guided tour of about 4 hours by 4 researchers at the Centre de Recherches sur la Cognition Animale, located in Toulouse. This visit will offer a unique opportunity to discover at the heart of the laboratory how ants carry very heavy loads, how the blob learns, how bees count, how flies learn from each other, how fish make group decisions, or how mice help us better understand Alzheimer's disease. Valid for the purchaser and a maximum of 3 potential companions of his or her choice and of any age. Date of visit to be defined jointly by the CRCA and the purchaser, before June 30, 2022. Transport to Toulouse at the expense of the purchaser and his or her companions. This lot was proposed at the initiative of the Centre national de la recherche scientifique (CNRS), a historical partner of the Palais de la découverte and in particular its "1 researcher, 1 handl" offer. The Centre for Research on Animal Cognition is part of the Centre for Integrative Biology in Toulouse and its main objective is the multidisciplinary and comparative study of cognitive processes in various animal models ranging from invertebrates to vertebrates. From 17 July to 2 September 2018, CRCA researchers gave an emblematic presentation of the "1 researcher, 1 manip" offer at the Palais de la découverte devoted to the blob, a single cell that is as harmless as it is extraordinary.
