A unique family visit to the basements of the Eiffel Tower Thomas Corbasson, the architect who designed the Maison de l'Architecture in Paris and winner of the "Eiffel Tower Site" competition, and member of the Académie de l'Architecture, will take you on a tour of the basements of the Eiffel Tower and talk to you about his profession as an architect. After working for Jean Nouvel, notably in Seoul, South Korea, Thomas Corbasson joined forces with Karine Chartier in 2000 to found the Chartier-Corbasson Architects agency, which won the Albums des Jeunes Architectes in 2002. Their first public project, the Maison de l'Architecture in Ile-de-France, won the European Bauwelt prize for the first work. Since then, each of their projects has been the subject of numerous publications. Thomas Corbasson taught in 2016 at the Ecole d'Architecture de Versailles and led workshops on the subject at the Ecole Duperré. He now teaches at the ESA (Ecole Spéciale d'Architecture) in Paris.
