RADA TZANKOVA - Landscape in red Acrylic... - Lot 16 - Ader Entreprises & Patrimoine
RADA TZANKOVA - Landscape in red Acrylic on paper mounted on canvas, signed lower right, 65 x 46 cm "There are always two readings of my work; from a distance it seems abstract, from close up we discover characters, as in this painting at the bottom left, two lovers in red. We follow the course of the characters, their emotions, the movements of the water, the sky, the earth, the nature which are linked and rolled up in a unity in red. An allegory of life." Of Bulgarian origin, Rada Tzankova graduated from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts de Paris, in Jean Michel Alberola's studio in painting and drawing in 2000. In 2014 she is a laureate of Hundred days Art Contest, San Francisco in painting. She received the David-Weill drawing prize from the Académie des Beaux-Arts in 1999. That same year she created drawings for the poetry books Encre Noir, by Anne de Colbert and Recueil hermétique, by Panka Klötz. In 1995 she received the Jules Vernes Prize for Engraving and designed the scenography for the play "Full for love" by Sam Shepard in Luxembourg. In 2013, she published the author's books, Ton jardin, Eau de l'âme, published by Editions Chatoyantes, currently in the bookshop of the Museum of Modern Art and at ARTCURIAL. Since 2019 she is presented by Galerie Mansart in Paris, DGalerie and Rakursi Gallery in Sofia / Bulgaria.
