From the Metropole Hotel (Brussels): Complete furniture of the Room 6066. Set of furniture in light veneer and black lacquered wood, Belgian manufacture 1930/ 1940 (Condition of use.) including: FERNAND CHAMBON (1876-1944) (ATTRIBUTED TO) FOR THE HOTEL METROPOLE BRUSSELS Neoclassical dressing table in light wood and light wood veneer. The entablature, opening with two drawers in the front, hosts a top composed of three black opaline with metal frames; the central part forming a flap and discovering a mirror. The double X-shaped legs are joined by a nickel-plated metal spacer. Years 1940-50. H. 69 cm. - L. : 120 cm. - D. : 52 cm. Condition of use. We join a quadripod stool in light wood, the seat reupholstered. H. H : 40 cm. - L. : 52 cm. - D. : 42 cm.
