Laurence Leblanc, a French artist, was born on June 6, 1967 in Paris, where she lives and works. She began her artistic career at a very early age, taking drawing classes at the Ecole Martenot and training in engraving at the Arts décoratifs du Louvre. Her photography began with a dialogue with music, and in particular with Peter Gabriel. Showing in a different way. She went on the Secret World Tour in the 90s, criss-crossing the globe and collaborating with the Real World label for two years. In 1999, her work came to the attention of art critic and curator Régis Durand, who wrote: "In these photographs, there is what might be called a kind of familiar fantasy, a mixture of ordinary poetry and strangeness. From 2000 onwards, Christian Caujolle was to commit himself personally and strongly to her work. For her, the act of creation, whatever the medium, is constructed by impregnating the subject and its environment, and the resulting print is the fruit of meticulous elaboration.
