Radio France : l'Echappée Solidaire
Radio France mobilizes the champions of French sport for an exceptional auction for the benefit of the disaster victims of the Roya and Vésubie valleys

from November 30 to December 14, 2020

Beginning of October, Storm Alex and its terrible weather conditions ravaged part of the Alpes-Maritimes, leaving the Roya and Vésubie valleys totally devastated. To help the inhabitants of the region who have suffered immense material damage and to contribute to the reconstruction effort, Radio France is organising an exceptional auction sale of items belonging to the champions of French sport.

The sale will be conducted by Ader Entreprises & Patrimoine and will be held in a 100% online format on the Drouot site from 30 November to 14 December. All profits will be donated to Secours Populaire, which has been working since the first day to help the victims.

This sale is part of the same spirit of solidarity shown by Radio France in the aftermath of the storm. By extending as far as possible the broadcasting of France Bleu Azur in the Alpes-Maritimes, Radio France has made the special programming of the local radio station accessible in all the disaster areas to ensure its priority mission of continuity of public service information to the population in times of crisis.

L'Echappée Solidaire: French sports stars answer Radio France's call

Radio France wanted to mobilize the champions of French sport with whom it has forged strong links and shares the same values of solidarity.
At the 2nd stage of the Tour de France 2020 in the Southern Alps on 30 August, the French were able to enjoy the beauty of the landscapes of the Roya and Vésubie valleys. It is therefore natural that Radio France turned to the organisation of the Tour de France and Julian Alaphilippe, winner of the event, who will offer his yellow jersey for sale.
But this exceptional sale brings together more widely the world of French sport, its champions and its different disciplines. In total, more than 15 exceptional lots will be on offer, including Teddy Riner's belt, Amandine Henry's spiked shoes, the jerseys of Hugo Lloris, Charles Ollivon, Romain Ntamack and Nikola Karabatic, Sarah Ourahmoune's gloves and François Gabart's raincoat...
