ATTRIBUTE A MATHIEU MATÉGOT (1910-2001) Suspended furniture, model to be compared with the work presented at the Salon des Arts Ménagers, Paris, 1955 Wall unit forming a suspended bar The ash veneer body opens with a flap and has two niches, one of which is closed at the bottom by a glass shelf. The uprights in cream (re)painted metal receive the cabinet and two additional glass shelves. The flap reveals an interior with two shelves and a drawer. Condition of use, non-original paint on the jambs, with some chipping, a possible 8 cm strip of non-original paint on the end of the carcase resting against the wall, scattered stains on the veneer.
