EMILE-JACQUES RUHLMANN (1879-1933) Chambre commerce, light variant (new reference no. 162a) model designed and produced around 1928 in only 4 pieces for the Paris Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Games table in oak and oak veneer. The 4 Sabre-type legs each end in a gilded bronze spatula shoe. The entablature, with a wide, very slightly curved belt on all sides, receives a removable top upholstered in brown felt on one side and in oak veneer on the other. Hot-stamped RUHLMANN in baton letters below the belt. Height: 74 cm Length: 79 cm Width: 79 cm Damage and missing parts, notably veneer grafts and missing parts on the upper part of the belt and in the corners, scattered cracks on the legs, a veneer graft and missing parts on the top on the oak side, detachments, wear to the gilding of the hooves.
