Succeeding the JES-Franklin Endowment Fund, the JES-Franklin Foundation - Jesuit Education Solidarity - was created in May 2019. It is under the aegis of the Fondation de Montcheuil, the Jesuit foundation for education. Its purpose is to support both education and solidarity projects at St. Louis de Gonzaga and Jesuit works of education and inclusion. In Franklin, the Foundation helps families to finance their children's schooling, because no one should be prevented from studying there for material reasons. For the same reasons, it also awards scholarships to students in preparatory classes for business schools. In addition, the JES-Franklin Foundation largely supports the Classe Soleil, a class for six autistic children at the Petit Collège, the primary school. In addition, the ARPEJ 14 and Saint-Denis, associations that provide educational support for young people with fewer opportunities, as well as the AFEP, a production school in Saint-Etienne for young people who have dropped out of school, receive financial support from the JES-Franklin Foundation.
For the past few years, a Gala for the parents, alumni and friends of Franklin has been organized at Saint- Louis de Gonzague (Paris 16e). This year, it will take place on Friday, November 26. It is an opportunity for the Franklin community to meet in a convivial way, to discover the projects of the Foundation and to make generosity live, in particular through a collection of donations. Thanks to the commitment of Elsa Joly-Malhomme, auctioneer and partner at ADER, a fundraising event will be organized during the gala and live on the Drouot.com website; this fundraising event is open to all those who wish to play the game of generosity and beauty.
