Succeeding the JES-Franklin Endowment Fund, the JES-Franklin Foundation - Jesuit Education Solidarity - was created in May 2019. It is under the aegis of the Fondation de Montcheuil, the Jesuit Education Foundation. Its purpose is to support both education and solidarity projects at St. Louis de Gonzaga and Jesuit works of education and inclusion. At Franklin, the Foundation helps families finance their children's schooling, because no one should be prevented from studying there for material reasons. For the same reasons, it also awards scholarships to students in business school preparatory classes. In addition, the JES-Franklin Foundation largely supports the Classe Soleil, a class for six autistic children at the Petit Collège, the primary school. In addition, ARPEJ 14 and Saint-Denis, associations that provide educational support for underprivileged young people, as well as AFEP, a production school in Saint-Etienne for young people who have dropped out of school, receive financial support from the JES-Franklin Foundation.
For the past few years, a Gala for parents, alumni and friends of Franklin has been organized at Saint- Louis de Gonzague (Paris 16e). This year, it will take place on Friday, November 25, 2022. It is an opportunity for the Franklin community to get together in a convivial way, to learn more about the Foundation's projects and to bring generosity to life, particularly through a fundraising event. Thanks to the commitment of Elsa Joly-Malhomme, auctioneer and partner at ADER, a fundraising event is organized during the gala and live on the Drouot.com website; this fundraising event is open to all those who wish to play the game of generosity and beauty.
