From the former IDI offices : Paintings, prints, modern sculptures
Closing on Friday 17 March from 11am
A pioneer in investing in SMEs and ETIs, IDI is now putting its collection of paintings, sculptures and prints up for sale, bringing together important signatures from the second half of the 20th century. Among them, Olivier Debré, a great representative of lyrical abstraction, and Jean Hélion for a more geometric abstraction. The collection also includes works by artists who have been highlighted by major Parisian galleries, such as Patrice Giorda, whom Daniel Templon discovered in 1982 and with whom he collaborated for many years, organizing exhibitions around the world. This collection also includes works that are rarer on the French market, such as the sculpture of Virgil Ortiz, a South American artist. He is part of an ancestral practice of pottery by diverting traditional subjects. His works can be found today in numerous public collections. The sale of the IDI collection is therefore an opportunity to discover or rediscover the artists gathered in this original ensemble.
